Pastor John was raised in Las Cruces, NM and, as the son of a church-planting pastor, has lived in the midwest and in California. John received his training at Biola University (Intercultural Studies Major), The Master's Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has been in the ministry since 1987 and here in Benson since 2011. He and his wife, Cindy have ministered to churches in California, New Mexico, North Dakota, Kansas and Arizona. With a heart for missions, he’s also served extensively in Haiti, Mexico and Sudan. John and Cindy have a son, Tim, and two grandsons, Tyler and Maverick. John enjoys gardening, nature, history, getting to know other cultures and most of all spending time with his family.
